We can explore Cheddar Gorge and its caves, the Burrington Combe ravine leading on to Dolebury hill-fort and Beacon Batch, the highest point on Mendip.
There's coastal walking near Weston-Super-Mare too. On a non-walking day, you could just enjoy the hotel's facilities or perhaps visit nearby Wells, Wookey Hole or Glastonbury.
