Online booking

To book online, follow the simple steps below:

1. Find the holiday and departure you want to book on this website. You can use the search facility or just browse through the menus and links.
2. Click the button next to your chosen departure
3. Log in (or register if it is your first time) and fill out your details
4. You will be contacted by telephone or e-mail for your payment details before confirming your holiday

In most cases we can get you booked onto your holiday straight away, and then all you have to do is look forward to your trip. You will be asked to provide your passport details where applicable for holidays that involve flights, along with your insurance details if you are not purchasing a policy from us. Do not worry if you don't have these details with you at the time of booking, as you can let us know at any time before the balance is due.

Booking by fax, email or post

It is no longer necessary to fill out a booking form, but you can book this way if you wish. Blank booking forms are available in the back of the brochure, or via the link below.

What happens once I’ve booked?

When we have received your deposit and booking form, a ‘Confirmation of Booking’ invoice and insurance certificate (if purchasing Ramblers Countrywide Holidays insurance), together with a General Information Booklet and Holiday Information Sheet relating to your holiday will be sent to you.
The final payment amount and its due date will be shown on your invoice. In the unusual event that a later surcharge is applicable to your holiday, an amended invoice will be sent to you no later than ten weeks prior to departure. As we do not usually issue receipts, please advise us if you require one.
Should there be any significant changes to your holiday from the advertised arrangements, we will advise you either upon booking or as soon as possible thereafter.

Deposits

We have a holiday deposit structure: per person deposits of £75 apply but for holidays by air this is  £100 whilst Cruise & Walk holidays are  £150 (all per person) 

Payments

Due to the fee applied by credit card companies, we  add a charge of up to 1.75% to all payments (except deposits) when paid using Visa or MasterCard.

Ramblers Countrywide Holidays is bonded with or regulated by the following travel authorities, which ensure you get a holiday you can trust.

We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. The air holiday packages shown are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 0990. Please see our booking conditions for more information. ATOL protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom. ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services shown on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. AITO

Changes to your holiday

Do be aware that itineraries planned for some holidays may be changed on the spot because of unexpected events. The final decision for any changes rests with your leader. Ramblers Countrywide Holidays cannot be held responsible for disruption to planned itineraries arising from weather conditions or situations beyond our control such as earthquakes or political unrest. Every effort will be made to provide alternative activities and to ensure that you have the best holiday possible.
