A new 12 part television series "The Lakes" will show you much of what the beautiful Lake District area has to offer for the 2010 holiday season.

Presented by Lake Distict fan,Rory McGrath, The Lakes started on Monday 4th January 2010 at 8pm on ITV1 and continues every Monday for a further 12 weeks up until March. This amusing and heart warming programme will show you the beauty and interest surrounding the Lake District and why its a area you should not miss!!
