Walking Holidays for Single Travellers

Walking holidays are ideal for those travelling alone, and about half our group members are single travellers. They know that on a Ramblers Countrywide holiday they will be made to feel welcome and meet people who all share a passion for walking and outdoor life, with the chance to make lasting friendships.

Single room options

We have a high number of single rooms, often with no supplement, throughout the UK. When a single room is provided, whether it’s sold at a supplement or not, it guarantees privacy only, so please be aware that the room may be inferior in size or position.

Have you considered sharing a room?

Travelling alone doesn’t necessarily mean you have to pay a single supplement. If you’re willing to share a twin room with another group member, of the same sex, (and agree to a non-smoking policy and to reasonable norms of behaviour) we may be able to accommodate this on some holidays, simply talk to our Reservations Team when booking.
